Braddock Eagle are always thirsty for knowledge and learning! Books are the best way to quench that thirst and our Fall Book Fair is a lush oasis of literature!
Our Book Fair theme – Reading Oasis: A Cool Place to Discover Hot Books! – takes students on a journey back to Ancient Egypt to an oasis overflowing with fun, engaging, and affordable books kids want to read. Giving kids access to good books and the opportunity to choose books will motivate them to read more. And like most acquired skills, the more kids practice reading, the better they’ll get.
Reading is vital to every child’s success, and raising kids as readers means getting involved while they’re young. Now is the time. Since there will never be a substitute for a parent’s direct involvement in his/her child’s education, please make plans to visit our Book Fair.
- Scholastic Book Fair – December, 9 through December 13, 2013
- Family Night – Wednesday, December 11, 2013. 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
- Online Book Fair – December 4 though December 24, 2013
Our Book Fair is also online! It’s so easy to shop, just click on our Braddock ES Book Fair Page and click on Shop Online. All books will be shipped free to Braddock Elementary after December 13. The online Book Fair is a great option for grandparents and other family and friends who live out of town.
